Noida Vs Pune

COMPARISON is the one thing which I always try to avoid, and if I do comparisons then I try to make them logical rather than emotional. But when ever we people start loosing we take refuge in lying on emotions, and that’s very obvious that no one can defeat emotions.

Coming back on to the subject, lot many times I had a debate on this & almost 90% of time it is with one of my very close & dear friend. He favors Noida & I always favors for Pune.

During debate I always emphasize on technical/financial growth, education std, cost of living, security, electricity, water; the very basic & mandatory requirement of every family. In all the above points Pune is far better than Noida. Nobody can deny this. Yes, of course in terms of Infra Structure Noida is far better than Pune. These points always took me near victory, but then they shot back with emotional point “Noida is very near to our native place”. Now, of course I cannot argue on this point and I always loose here but it is not fair.

I do agree with them on this point as this is the only reason that I am in Noida but that doesn’t mean Noida is better than Pune. These people always say ‘X lakh/annum’ in Noida is better than ‘(X+3) lakh/annum’ in Pune as Noida is near to our hometown, but what if they were offered ‘(X+10) lakh/annum’ in Pune. What if they were asked to work onsite for 1-2 years? Will they still stand with their point?? No, they won’t. They will just run away & grab the opportunity. Now, where the hell that emotion went away? Is it sold for ‘(X+10) lakh/annum’.

Sometimes we just try to run away from truth rather than accepting it. Why we are not standing & facing the truth firmly? Why we feel shy or embarrass in doing so? Using our sentiments & emotions is just like those girls who use their tears as their “BRAHMASTRA”.

The main motive of this blog is that when you debate on something then doesn’t use emotional assets. Every city is best in some manner; it is on us that which city suites us according to our priorities.

Good post . I liked and agree to your X+10 theory . Hypocrisy Zindabad .
On another Note, I like Pune, even though I have never been to Noida.

I don't like Noida at all. I was in Gurgaon for 5 years, I recently moved to Noida and I can say there is no comparison between Noida and Gurgaon. Gurgaon is far better and getting better specially after 2010. But I would certainly like to move in Pune, I heard it's much better. But have to wait until I get an opportunity. :)

Hi

your blog is nice but nobody can drive you emotionally, everybody has some specific reason to love their city...money always doesnt count..its something your mental peace all about..then be it noida or pune...

well I'll say this x+10 theory is totally crap. I say this because I came down to Pune from Mumbai on X+5 something, but dude today I just want to run back to Mumbai. Not because of the infra in Mumbai(which ofcourse is non comparable with Pune), but because the people in Pune have some serious attitude issue. Be it the autowalas, the Kirana Store, the Bai's or the normal aam Marathi Van-Manoos !!! I just hate evrything about them. I don't know they have been through some rationalization evre in their life or not but their arrogance and attitude just stinks. I have n number of stories to tell...but just that I've been in Noida as well and I can just compare and tell that an apple is an apple and a guava is a guava. Noida is far far superior in terms of both infra and people.

I have done my studies from pune and unfortunately decided to shift to Noida .
trust me guys ... noida sucks ....move to pune . dnt waste ur time thinking bout this.
If u r in noida..n wanna spend qwality weekend, here are the options
u can reach agra ..meerut..moradabad..ghaziabad..gurgaon max time 3 hrs.. again all pathetic places.

if u r in pune ... u have khandala ..lonavala..harihareshwaram .. lavasa..alibag..mathran..mahabaleshwar...shirdi... n of course ...
MUMBAI n GOA ........pune is aall bout beautiful hills ...awsum climate ...

plus the crowd in pune clubs n disc is much hip n knows how to party ...
noida is full of goons n uncultured ppl wearing hawai chapal in pubs just because they own a fortuner or a pajero ....n jumpimg on crazy bollywood vulgar dj mixes.

i wud suggest dnt think twice if u want to relocate to pune ..... its the best city with great night life ...and safest for girls ..which city in India offers girls to hangoutt at railway station CUMSUM eateries and then move by the morning ..
